Housing for refugees
Support a unique hemp-tech housing project for 90 refugees in Ukraine.
Support housing for refugees
We invite you to support the urgent need to complete the housing project for 90 war refugees.
This is a website of the nonprofit fund "Mercy and Resocialization of People Who Have Lost Social Ties", located in Kyiv.
We support those who suffered from Russian aggression, war, and atrocities in Ukraine. Refugees, internally displaced people (IDPs), victims of war, widows, orphans, and veterans.
They lost their homes, family members, or suffered war trauma. They need:
1) housing and food, 2) psychological rehabilitation, and 3) active work to return to normal life.
WHAT WE do
To restore Ukraine, we support persons who lost their homes and jobs, experienced psychological trauma, and are lacking basic needs. In cooperation with local NGOs, we support these 3 major vectors to their full recovery.
Housing
Using local hemp technology - perfect for Ukraine's climate - we provide rapid construction solutions for the refugees. We also train them how to do it.
Psychological help
We work on the issue of war trauma and psychological rehabilitation among the refugees, IDPs, and veterans, in cooperation with competent NGOs.
Social rehabilitation
The success criterions of our rehabilitation system are: active social life, volunteer work, acquisition of new skills, and successful employment.
Help the refugees to finish BUILDing their own housing
Our Partners
We join efforts with national and international supporters to recover Ukraine. These are donors, philanthropists, NGOs, charitable funds, businesses, churches, communities, and subject matter experts. You are welcome to join!
I cannot imagine how we would have managed the flow of IDPs without the help of funds and organizations. In particular, Hemp Recover Ukraine has supported the sustainable housing project for 90 people. Thank you for your help!

This project is so inspiring it seemed like a dream, but then I saw it with my own eyes and put my hands on the hempcrete. Refugee housing, built by Ukrainian refugees from Ukrainian hemp. It’s literally a Point of Invincibility grown from the very ground the invader seeks to possess, as if the Ukrainian soil itself has joined in its own defense and healing. Even the soil in Ukraine is heroic! It’s an honor to be able to support this project.
